Crafters Nook
The Crafters Nook is a social interest group for adults of all skill levels to practice crafts, learn new techniques, and participate in community projects.
Session Times & Cost
The group meets three times a week for approximately £3.00 per session, which includes refreshments like hot drinks and cake.
- Tuesdays: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
- Thursdays: 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
- Fridays (Evening): 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm (sometimes called "Evening Crafters")
Activities Offered
Participants can bring their own projects or join in group activities. Common crafts include:
- Needlecrafts: Knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, and sewing (sewing machines available).
- Paper & Art: Card making, diamond art, painting, and drawing.
- Specialist Groups: Needle felting, weaving, and creative upcycling are also hosted at the hall under specific circles like Butterfly Beacons.
